Any tech difference if i use 2 layers of75mm thick rockwool instead of 150 mm 1 layer in oven hot insulation?



for oven OT 100 deg.c rockwool 150 mmof 128 kg/m3 density has been recommended. if i use 75mm in two layers instead of 150 mm single layer, any technical difference, how.

    None, I believe. However, if you are able to do so, you should lay the second layer at right angles to the first layer, so that you minimise the gaps.
