how to secure ridgid foam insulation to the wall.?



Stupid question I know but I forgot to ask my father (hes a contractor). We are installing ridgid foam insulation to the underside of our Attic rafters to insulate our attic room and allow air flow in the remaining spaces. What would be the recommended way to install it?

    there’s nails that have a disk on them then there’s liquid nail, construction adhesive, or a staple gun,

    you can get tubes of glue just for foam.HD has it in the paint section along with all the other adhesives tubes.

    A glue made for foam, some "liquid nails" will eat up the foam.. GL
